DESCRIPTION:\nI learned this year that France refers to Breast Cancer Awareness Month as October Rose, and I really love that. There are so many causes around the world, but in October, when the pink ribbons start appearing, it sparks something different in me. Maybe it’s because I’ve walked alongside people very close to me as they fought this disease. Throughout the month, there are countless walks and runs happening around the world, and I wanted to offer something a little different.\n\n\n\nCoach Elise has generously offered to lead a Pilates session. It will be a more intimate event, as space is limited to 20 participants, but it will still be special and a meaningful way to start our Sunday together. After the class, we’ll enjoy a drink and a treat. Part of the participation fee will be donated to Prolific.\n\n\n\nI had the opportunity last October to learn about Prolific, the women behind the association, and the research they support when I participated in the Odyssea walk. Their work is inspiring, and I’m grateful we can contribute to it in our own way this year. ~Tegan\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
